Parcours Jacques Hadamard

Presentation

The Jacques Hadamard "à la carte" program aims to train students throughout the entire Master's programme (M1 + M2) and to provide them with the best possible conditions to undertake a doctoral thesis in all areas of mathematics. The entire course is completely "à la carte" and allows the selection of the most suitable courses from the offer of the Master of Mathematics at the University of Paris-Saclay. It therefore offers a very wide range of high-level courses in all areas of mathematics and allows students to discover from the inside the research activity in mathematics by confronting open and current problems.

Students are followed throughout the Master's degree by a mentor who, in consultation with the program director, supervises them and advises them on the courses best suited to their project.

Admissions procedure

All applications should be filled online. If you have the nationality of a country outside the european economic area but member of the Études en France agreement, then you need to apply on the  Paris-Saclay applications website. Otherwise, you need to use the national website  MonMaster.

Admissions are closed for 2024-2025. The admission procedure calendar for the following year will be posted in December.

This programs targets the very best mathematics students. We only accept about 25 students per year.

At least one course must be taken outside of Orsay. The following courses form the default menu. The English language course below should be replaced by a French language course if you are not fluent in French.
